“Where the Wind Walks Backward” is a vivid, textural exploration of movement, memory, and disorientation. Abstract figures, draped in streaks of white and shadow, appear to drift across a surreal landscape under a swirling sky, where a burning orange sun defies logic and direction. The wind, suggested by the brushstrokes and the tilt of forms, seems to pull everything in reverse — disrupting time, pushing presence into the past. Bursts of colour and layered textures give the scene a sense of unrest and mystery, as if the world itself is breathing in reverse. It’s a poetic and haunting portrayal of a moment caught between the seen and the remembered.
